Korma Spice Mix is a mild, pale, curry dish originating in India and can be made with yogurt, cream, nut and seed paste or coconut milk. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian korma dishes are popular. The colour and spiciness of the dish depends on the amount of nut or cream added to it. Recipes provided.
HIMALAYA GOURMET KORMA SPICE MIX - MILD
Ingredients: Spices, tamarind, water, cider vinegar, canola oil, onion, green chilies, herbs, ginger and garlic.
Directions: Fry an onion with clarified butter or vegetable oil. Add 2 cups of cubed chicken, veal, lamb, fish or vegetables. Cook until half done. Add salt and 2 tablespoon of Himalaya Gourmet Korma Masala. Stir in 1 cup of yogurt or coconut milk. Simmer until tender. Serve with salad or bread.
Each 250ml jar serves a total of 16 minimum portions.
