A popular dish Chicken Tikka is made with minced chicken or vegetable patties in a marinade of Himalaya Gourmet Tikka spice and yogurt/coconut milk. Chicken Tikka Masala is today, undoubtedly one of the UKs favourite comfort foods. Use a mixture of Himalaya Gourmet Tikka Spice and dahi -the Indian word for plain yogurt to chicken parts. Marinate, and grill.

Lastly simmer it, in a pan for a few minutes, on the stove top, in a gravy made of sour cream and a table spoon of Tikka spice.

  • Ingredients:  Spices, tamarind, water, tomato paste, cider vinegar, canola oil, ginger and garlic.

     

    Directions:  Rub salt and 2 tablespoons of paste to 6 chops or chicken parts or 2 cups cubed lamb, veal, fish or vegetables and bake, grill, stew or pan fry.

    To prepare Chicken Tikka Masala. To the above grilled chicken add two tablespoons of Himalaya Gourmet Tikka masala paste, some chicken stock and 1 cup of natural yogurt. Simmer on stove top for five min. Serve with Nan or steamed rice.

     

    Each 250ml jar serves a total of 16 minimum portions.
