Ingredients:

 

  • 1Kg. Chicken wings

  • 2 tbsps. Himalaya Gourmet Tamarind Honey Dip

  • 2 tbsps. low sodium soya sauce

  • pepper and salt to taste

 

Method:

 

Brush the wings with the mixture of Himalaya Gourmet Tamarind Honey Dip and soya. Bake in a conventional oven at 350 degrees F. about 35 minutes, turning the wings once during the cooking. Serve on a bed of greens as an entrée.

TAMARIND CHICKEN KOFTAS

Ingredients:

 

  • 1/2 kg. Ground chicken

  • 3 tbsp. Himalaya Gourmet Tamarind Honey Dip

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp. chives or herbs

  • 1 tablespoon Himalaya Gourmet Tikka Masala

  • 1 egg

  • salt to taste

 

Method:

 

Mix all the ingredients and form into tiny balls. Place on an oiled baking dish and bake for 15 minutes on high heat. Remove from oven and shake them gently, so that the balls are moved from its original position. Return to oven and continue to bake for 5 minutes. Serve hot on tooth picks with cherry tomatoes or grapes attached to the end. You could prepare this recipe with ground turkey or veal.

TAMARIND CHICKEN

Ingredients:

 

  • 1/2 kg. chicken parts

  • 4 tbsp. Himalaya Gourmet Tamarind Honey Dip

  • 1 onion finely diced

  • 1 tablespoon Himalaya Gourmet Tikka Masala (optional)

  • 1 diced green chilli

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • salt to taste

 

Method:

 

In a deep pan fry chicken parts in vegetable oil for 15 minutes on high heat.

Stir in diced onion and continue to fry. Now add Himalaya Gourmet Tamarind Honey Dip, diced chilli or Himalaya Gourmet Tikka masala.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for five minutes. Adjust gravy with 1/4 cup water or chicken stock. Serve.
